Life is a journey. We all seem to naturally view it as such. Just think of all the journey-infused metaphors we use when talking about our lives: “We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it,” “I’m really at a cross-roads right now,” “Our relationship has hit a road block,” and “I’m ready to take my life in a different direction,” just to name a few. With this collective perspective of traveling through life, it is only fitting that our dreams would place us in a myriad of travel-related adventures.
In the literal world, there are many physical paths on which to travel, such as road, sea, air, and track. In the figurative world, there are many life paths to travel: career paths, relationship paths and spiritual paths, for example. And in the dream world, each type of path you may find yourself on, as well as each type of vehicle you may find yourself in, is not only related to your various life paths but will also give great insight into how successfully or how poorly you are navigating these paths. In other words, the path, whether it be the road, air or water, is the particular path you have chosen; the vehicle is your ability to travel that path.
For example, spaceships, UFOs, rockets, space shuttles, all these vehicles are capable of traveling not only high into the sky but beyond this world, so when they travel into our dreams they represent our extreme high hopes of being able to travel above and beyond our personal world as we now know it.
A great example of such a dream came from radio personality Mike Calta, who can be heard on 102.5 The Bone here in Tampa, FL. I was on his show back in April of ’09 when he relayed an interesting dream he had about the space shuttle…
A syndication deal would certainly transport Mike to another world as far as his career path goes. But unfortunately, as his dream suggests, he’s had to suffer let down after let down. What the dream is also showing him is that the let downs and set backs are not of his own doing but of his company, because he was being towed by the Space Shuttle (his company), he wasn’t piloting it. The good news is that since this dream, The Bone has gone all talk, giving Mike a much greater platform to display his talents. The Mike Calta Show is now the most listened to afternoon show in Tampa Bay!
Like Mike’s Dream, your dreams are full of meaning and are guiding you down your career path too. Your dreams are a built in GPS helping you to navigate all your paths, actually. My latest book Dream On It, Unlock Your Dreams Change Your Life will teach you how to easily understand all the signs in your dreams. It covers everything from travel and vehicle dreams to nightmares and sex dreams. Keep it on your nightstand and you’ll never have to wonder what your dreams mean again!
“Your books have been a life saver for me! Being able to understand my dreams has helped me to turn my marriage around because they were showing me what I have been doing to make our situation worse. Wow. It’s unbelievable how helpful my dreams have been to me. I can not thank you enough.” – Tammy, Flagstaff, AZ
I had a dream where I was in my living room grabbed something… then it turned black… I was bolted into space and started seeing little white lights everywhere and when I got closer. They were what looked like the shape of a water droplet but all different colors. I knew I was dreaming and was able to wake up whenever I wanted. I was in the middle of what seemed to be space in the middle of these little colorful water droplets. I say water droplets because of the shape of them. I was so excited to tell my fiancé what I say that I woke screaming what I was screaming in my dream which was “babbeee” but the whole time while I was I was in The dream I felt like I was actually there. I was thinking the whole time wow she is not going to believe me when I tell her this. Also going back to the beggining of the dream I was in my living room and saw these things in the air and as soon as I grabbed them I felt my body get as calm as ever like my whole body went numb. Anybody else experience something like this? Also before I fell asleep I was meditating.
That sounds like an out of body experience (OBE) which led to a fascinating journey to the Astral plane. I’ve had these experiences myself so I felt that I could offer an exclamation.
I had a dream once where I walked to a big framed window and saw tracers of lights as I was flying through space and that was the whole dream felt like 2 seconds.
i have been having VERY consistent dreams for about a year now, my first dream i dont fully remember but i remember it felt so cool and vivid and out of the ordinary of a “normal dream” it started off as some kind of natural disaster that wasnt really scary to me but i looked for my loved ones and next thing you know we were taking an airplane that does a full (it alwaysss does this) flip in the sky and this caught me off guard as the plane did a loop de loop and i didnt have a seat belt so i held onto my seat for my life and i made it around but it scared the f*ck out of me we made it to a tropical place and took an elevator that took a sudden and fast drop to the bottom floor of a hotel but i always make it safely to the bottom anyway and im always jumping from different balconies and roof tops trying to run from something scary but different in every dream and when i get too scared when running from whatever i can fly all of a sudden and at first i always flew really low to the ground but now i can fly as high as i want but i dont go as high as the tree lines and THENN i end up randomly finding myself in some kind of flight thing that takes me to space its usally a spaceship but once it was a hot air balloon and different things happen when i get in space in different dreams, sometimes i go to other universes but sometimes i get pulled out the ship and either fall through space and fall through different universes or get pulled towards a star (super scary and realistic) i have NOO idea how to explain this but i started having these dreams like 3-4 times a year and suddenly i have been having these dreams everynighttt, it always involves a natural distaster, a plane that goes upside down in flight that i learned to expect and prepare for and hold onto my seat now, a dropping elevator, a hotel, me running from something and then flying, space, an amusment park that has a roller coaster with no seatbelts and a water slide that has crazy drops, i keep trying to google any answers but nothing. its like i can travel through space and different universes while experiencing being able to fly or the feeling of being in spaceships or airplanes that take me to places i never been or seen.
I feel you 100%…I don’t know how else to say it
I have always been drawn to space even as a child. I made a drawing of myself on another planet with details of a working space suit. The assignment was what we wanted to be when we grew up. All my classmates laughed at me. I ended up becoming an artist (I’m terrible at math) but I taught space camp as a young adult and have always had a natural understanding of physical science. I have had space travel dreams for as long as I can remember. I absolutely love them. They always have an element of danger but I feel at home in those dreams. I can choose my paths and make decisions like in a lucid dream but I don’t feel like it’s a lucid dream. It feels like I’ve woken up right into another life, though that being always looks just like me. I have my own shuttle, it’s always the same and I always start at the moon. I’ve visited different types of planets. Ones with no life, gas giants, planets with primitive life, planets with social structures very different than our own. I visited a water world in a global war. I was in a small personal jet type craft where I was on my belly but navigated rather easily. The planet was all brown brackish type water, rather stagnant and no vegetation (I don’t really remember but I’m think a brown dwarf type system) the planet had huge triangle shaped turbines to clean and deliver fresh water to this large city built on barges. The turbines had been shut down by an invading force and we were there to help fight. I remember it so clearly because once my craft hit the atmosphere and my decent slowed the vibrations of my vehicle shook me pretty hard and I woke up in my own bed. I still remember the feeling. Sometimes I dream of hot air balloons that can escape the atmosphere. And I dream of super tall structures with elevators that can go up for miles (always hotels or malls). I’ve never had any bad experiences with these dreams. I rather enjoy them, it makes me feel like life is less confined, especially in the covid era. I feel no fear or like I’m fleeing something. I did have one experience that we had built a space elevator on earth, the structure was damaged and it fell down and it caused tremendous damage. Sorry for the long reply, I don’t ever talk about this much, it’s nice to know other people have the same kind of dreams.
Is it weird that I had the exact same dream except I woke up right when the spaceship took off :I
Its the third time I’ve dreamt about space this year. Space Warfares, So finally I googled it. I did nothing but the things I saw I could never have seen them in reality. Space is beautiful.
i had a dream last night about, earth was coming to an end, a huge mushroom cloud could be seen in the distance like around 8 to 9 miles or so to my 7 o’clock and to my six theres this huge hurricane chasing after me and a few other poeple, but thats not all, me and the few other people were actually running to this space shuttle, which we managed to fly, and went to space by which we could see the earth as we know it ending in the ditection of our six, and ahead of us there was this huge spaceship that strecthes for approximately more than 10 miles or so and we could see many other shuttles heading to the direction of the massive ship, ok so the ship looks similar to that of the halos infinity but 10 times bigger amd we managed to get to the interior of the ship which was really massive, there were like really futuristic buildings inside, there were so many people inside, and i got this feeling of being happy and excited being there for some reason. Then i woke up.
fake
I very often dream flying in a gigantic spaceship on my journey back home which is not Earth, even not this galaxy not even this reality. The stars below are like a bed of thousands of twinkling diamonds in all colours in the vast distance of this universe. As far as speed goes, faster than light, and distance doesn’t matter.
I always feel at love and at peace when I have these dreams. They are very frequent, about one or two per month.
And to my defence, I am not lost or need more space, or that I am looking for new possibilities – not at all (as far as dream interpretation goes).
I am a star child wanting to go home.
Had another extremely vivid long dream where I was in control of all sorts of planes and from what I could tell had to be space ships from God knows where but all too futuristic.. I also felt at one point I had a rocket pack on and could fly into the sky into space thru the stars and back to earth
.. I dont know how my brain could produce such landscapes of space and details of these flying vehicles.. .I could feel the g-force as I accelerated from Boston to California in a matter of seconds.. This was too real to not mean something and if I could dream like that every night I would be a happy and considerably more interesting man..and to all of those who have joined me in and can make it to this otherworldly adventure…I wish to fly by you some night.. Happy traveles fellow dreamers.
I’ll
Link to book is broken
Had a dream last night that I escaped a spaceship on a smaller space-vehicle, and broke through glass into the vasness of space. The view was mesmorizing.
I have a lot alien abduction dreams (not nightmares) whenever I feel I'm not on the right path in life, after breakups, misunderstandings with people (I always feel so…alienated!) and such. They can be so intense that after several days even weeks I've often thought to myself "did I really do that or was it real contact?"-Real contact with aliens? Yes. Real contact from real extraterrestrials? Only in my dreams…
BTW, I've been having a LOT of dreams (I mean like three times per night) about attending dubstep concerts with Flux Pavilion and Doctor P…and this one guy on youtube whom I admire. That and some horrible nightmares about going to the past to prevent the extinction of prehistoric life to further advance the human race, only to find humans were the cause of their extinction, and I am trying to save baby prehistoric life forms while being killed and dying along with them or even outright sacrificing myself for them. Horrible. Just plain horrible. I'm going to set up a call with you soon.
Also, lucid dreaming is going well!
Well it is true that we dream always about that thing which we often think in our minds like like dream about traveling in space or something. these dreams always mean something which we can know form a dream dictionary easily. Thanks for sharing.
